  • Trying to flash firmware. it says to plug in usb and then turn on device adb (debug mode). Device has password which I can't remember. How do I turn on adb? I can't access device since I don't recall the password. Thank you.

  • Hello, I am really impressed with this tablet. Can play almost all the games but however the higher resolution is not supported by some of the games. I tried Heroes of Order and Chaos but it appears as a small screen at the upper left of the screen. So my question is can I lower its resolution. Are there any softwares to lower it ?

  • I bought the ainol novo 7 Flame and I loved it. But it did not have GPS. This Firewire or Spark would be my next purchase unfortunately it does not have bluetooth and GPS which I feel are essential. I'm hoping that your next version (or upgraded version) of Firewire or Spark will have these. I am definitely willing to pay for the additional cost of these enhancements. Maybe you can have different versions of the Firewire or Spark at different levels of pricing. This way you will appeal to different groups of customers, the budget conscience and the high-end users. Until then, I will just have to wait. Hopefully, the wifi problem will be resolved also.

  • Hi there,
    My New Novo 9 wants a password entered when I start the tablet. I have only had this about two weeks and haven't entered a password for securing the device. Is there an easy method to perform a factory reset so I can just be able to use this tablet? This was purchased for my parents to be able to use for internet, audio and video, and if it doesn't work properly, I'll have no other choice than to recommend to them to buy them an iPad instead.
    Gmail has also been crashing, as has Google, and the keyboard. Is this just a faulty tablet or batch of tablets, and is anyone else having the same issues? Can you also please send me an English user manual?

    1. My usb flash drive is not being detected through otg cable.
    2. my usb dongle is not being detected. It is ptcl evo (ec-169). How can I manually configure it

  • Thanks for responding so quickly to the email.
    I went through the routine asked with the wifi and machine, and it does not work. The ainol sees the network, which is 3 bars, goes through the routine as if to set the ainol up ie obtaining IP address, authenticating, saved etc and then back to searching again.

  • Ainol 9 Firewire - I've just received my new novo9 with the new firmware loaded. The tablet has crashed or locked up on me now 6 times. Wifi is poor. I've recently bought a wifi extender to assist this issue. both phones my wifes and mine which are wifi compatible will log onto the new exteder with no trouble but the novo 9 will not log on. any ideas??

  • Hi, when I unpack Ainol Novo 9 Firewire (Spark) New firmware 20130201-V1 the .rar file becomes an image file. This file is not readable by the upgrade tool 1.02_02. What am I doing wrong here, and how can I fix? Also when will Ainol Novo 9 manual be released in english?

    Its a great tablet......
    But the only thing why I am not purchasing it is that it don't have BLUETOOTH in it...... Man its THE shame!! Not to have a BLUETOOTH in such a tablet...!!

  • So Ainol 9 has only 1 x Micro USB port.... is somebody manufacturing Bluetooth adapter with "micro usb" connector?? Because i just found BT dongle with classical usb 2.0 ....okay i can use reduction USB to mini usb.... but it is look like a pig tail and it is very harmful to force open.
    Can you give me useful ansfer??
